CHICK’N RICE

Chick'N Rice is a restaurant located in Berkeley, CA. The client wanted hand lettered chalkboard menu along with flyers for new items and a rewards stamp card. 

I visited the restaurant to gain some knowledge about the feel of the brand. The interior of the restaurant is modern and light with a pop of red. Their menu is simple and features few, but quality items.

The logo and colors were designed prior, so I used the existing branding system to create a consistent language in the new print collateral. It was my goal to design within the same aesthetic as their existing branding by keeping the stamp cards and flyer modern through use of negative space. I utilized red to emphasize important information and create hierarchy to ensure easy and fast readability.
